This program allow to manage the name and extension of files. It can also change their modification date. You can also prefix and/or suffix the name, especially with a number.
After scanning, for example, the 3 fronts of 3 pages "Scan_01.pdf", "Scan_02.pdf" and "Scan_03.pdf" and then the 3 backs "Scan_04.pdf", "Scan_05.pdf" and "Scan_06.pdf", you can rename the 3 fronts "ScanPg_01.pdf", "ScanPg_03.pdf" and "ScanPg_05.pdf" as shown in the screenshot opposite, then do the same with the 3 backs, renaming them "ScanPg_02.pdf", "ScanPg_04.pdf" and "ScanPg_06.pdf" and then assembling these pages into a single Pdf document.
It can also change the appearance of windows icons.
Another possibility is to delete some files in a folder and all its subfolders.
This software can also store all aliases (shortcut) in a folder and all its subfolders in a file to restore them identically in the same folder on another disk.
The BatChmod software being no longer distributed, a window allowing you to modify the permissions replaces this very useful software.
